Steve Coniglio joined Wheelock in 2017 as regional partner with responsibility for the acquisition and development of residential and mixed-use land in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Based in Washington, DC, Steve has over 30 years of experience in land acquisition, entitlement, development, sales, and marketing in the residential, commercial and homebuilding arenas including award-winning, master-planned communities in both Northern Virginia and Maryland. 

Steve has extensive homebuilder experience, having set up the Mid-Atlantic Division of KB Home and amassing $300M in land assets in the DC MSA in 2 years. Prior to joining KB, Steve served as the Division Director of Land Acquisition for Pulte Homes. Additionally, Steve has considerable private equity experience, managing the Washington office of Sunbrook Partners, the operational affiliate of Westbrook Partners, a private equity firm with close to $20B in investments worldwide. In the Washington DC area Steve was responsible for the acquisition of $100M worth projects containing 2400 Lots and 300,000 SF of retail. Prior to Sunbrook, Steve was the East Coast Principal for LandCap Partners, a similar platform funded by Goldman Sachs and NorthStar Realty Trust. 

Steve graduated from The College of William and Mary and served in the Army for 20 years.
